Complete Blood Analysis with Dynacount 5D – 5-Part Differential Analyzer

About Haematology

Haematology is the branch of medicine concerned with blood, blood-forming organs, and blood diseases. At National Lab, we use the Dynacount 5D — a 5-part hematology analyzer offering flag information for better diagnosis, automatic monitoring of instrument status, and one-click maintenance for troubleshooting. It is ideal for labs that process high volumes of tests quickly and efficiently.

Our haematology department delivers comprehensive blood analysis including complete blood count, differential leukocyte count, haemoglobin estimation, and specialized coagulation studies — all reviewed by qualified pathologists.

Our Technology

The Dynacount 5D is a compact 5-part hematology analyzer that provides a complete differential white blood cell count along with CBC parameters. It offers smart maintenance with a single click for troubleshooting.

For HbA1c and haemoglobin variant analysis, we use the LifeDX HBPro — which gives accurate results using high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC), measuring absorbance points continuously to form a chromatogram. This identifies HbA1c directly and also detects haemoglobin variants and haemoglobinopathies.

Frequently Asked Questions

No special preparation is needed for a routine CBC. However, if the test is combined with blood sugar or lipid profile, 8–12 hours fasting is required.
CBC measures red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), haemoglobin, haematocrit, platelets, and their differential counts. It helps diagnose anaemia, infections, clotting disorders, and blood cancers.
CBC and routine haematology results are available within 1–2 hours. Peripheral smear and special tests may take 4–6 hours.
HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin) reflects average blood sugar levels over the past 2–3 months. It is the gold standard test for monitoring diabetes and assessing treatment effectiveness.
